I got a magnum 325 4x2 it has allways hesetated when excelerating.It's like it breaks up or bogs when you give it throtel and then smooths out at wide open which is very slow and i dont think it is going full speed I know it has a problem.I changed the plug and it was black and coverd in carbon it ran no better with a new plug.When i hold the trotel open in netral is doesent seem to rev up that high at all and it chops up bad.I pulled the carb and removed the boul ,the float is working good and the jets are not cloged, it black smokes when it smokes any way is is not lean poping.I looked at that diafram thing on top of the carb and it moves freely and has no holes in it.The bike starts great it just don't go worth a crap.

If the plug is black, it is running too rich. You say the float is working properly, but is the adjustment set right? Are you sure the choke is not partially closed when it is running? Is it possible it has too rich of a jet in it? These are the things I would guess are causing the rich condition

I dont have a manual to see the float level spec or main jet size it is bone stock with 3 tanks of gas through it.the float is adjusted good enough not run out of the over flow.do you know a link to a manual?thank you.I forgot to look at the main jet size when i was in there today.I am thinking of buying a K@N filter kit and a power up jet kit or whatever they call it.and ricks sells a new brain box thing for only 60 bucks that has multiple spark discharge.Incase that thing is bad.but i would check it with my multi meter if i had a manual.the dealer wants 65 bucks for the thing i will breakdoun and get it if i have to.with all my hondas i can go on line and find any spec i need.:?
