I saw an ad for a heel clicker clutch kit for my sportsman, anybody familiar with these or have an opinion on whether there worth the money or not? I am thinking about getting one but would like some opinions first.

Besides Heelclicker there are others including Dalton and EPI. Of all the wheelers out there, PO probably has the most clutch kits to choose from

For what it's worth, I bought a light set of weights from the Polaris dealer in Beaver, UT for $10.00. They are a stock item and include weights only. Easy to install and made a huge difference in performance at 10,000 ft altitude along with rejetting. Should also work well for towing in high range.

Thanks for the info John T I will ask my dealer about them next time I see him ,I have some parts on order for a neighbors Polaris mag 325 that I am working on. I think that my 700 has the power to pull the front wheels in high gear, its just not making it to the ground.

I think I can answer any questions you might have about HC.  Yes they are worth the investment. Yes you can just change weights but what you gain in one place you will lose in another. The clutching is a balanced setup that needs to remain that way. Ppl will tell you about changing a spring or weight and how great it is, they just forget to tell you what they traded in performance. ATV MAGAZINE has a simple article in it on clutching by EPI, you can see he is saying the same thing you can't just change one thing.  HC is coming out with a new design that is even better than the old ones they will be ready real soon.
