Boy did Honda do another disappointing job releasing the 07 lineup. Nothing new other than putting some different colors in. Adding camo to some of the lower models. Can't believe that they didn't make a move of some sort.

I think ol' Honda is not putting much effort into the ATV scene these days.

If you follow Honda and their logic, it seems they (Honda) are directing more of their effort along the lines of racing, high preformance engines...again for racing and the such.`

Maybe they are under the assumption that their ATV line is perfect as is. That being said, Honda does make one of the finest ATV's in production.... if your tastes run along the lines of modest power and old technology as far as suspension is concerned.

I would like to see a few Honda engineers migrate their way over to the Can-Am/ Bomber camp. Not that would give birth to a totally awesome machine.

Honda machines are nice, owning one myself, I have an 05 450 Foreman, My couisin had a .. correct me if im wrong, a 1998 450 foreman, both were identical except for the grill guard thing on the front of the bike. So that said after 8 years of their production bike stayed the same, 2006 booted it out for a 500 and differnt fenders.

Only honda I ever owned was a 250 3 wheeler my dad gave me when I was 9. It was almost 25 years old when the transmission went and we gave it away. Around here there are ALOT of hondas because they are low maitnence easy to operate and super reliable.

Like so many products and politics, administrations change with time. The golden age of Honda may never be what it was. When talking to a dealer that has sold Honda and BRP for years, he said they aren't what they used to be. Another Yamaha and Honda dealer told me that Honda is getting arrogant. That could change with a healthy market share loss. I hope they make an amazing comeback, myself. Good competition brings good products. To this day, if I had to rely on one machine in the middle of nowhere to not break down, it would be a Honda 300 4x4.:2cent:

i agree with the 300 being a great, reliable atv, probably the toughest ever except for a few rear ends. And at that time ALL the other manufacturers had nothing but crap. Too bad they called it quits after that or i'd probably still be running honda. I forget how many years they milked the 300 with nothing but sticker & color changes, but it was a long time.I drove one again not too long ago--what a step back in time that was.-chevette

I know it, every time I see one I remember how tough it was, but also how behind the times it became. I was an old 3 wheeler freak too.

At that time suzuki was years before honda in everything but power, but instead Suzuki had 3x5 gears (high, low, superlow) times 5 and honda did'nt even had low so it did'nt had a chance in strength anyway. S had individual susp. You could shift between 2wd,4wd and diff-lock. I remember honda had some strange of putting reverse in-(holding your brake), suzuki just had a simple stick you moved backwards. Talk about suzuki was ahead of all other brands back then.

I suppose you got another opinion, (or bad memory):2cent:

Yeah, they were a good rig too. Kinda forgot about that one. The Yamaha Big Bear was a tough one also.

Man those old suzi's were one of the cutting edge machines.. And tough as nails  not very fast but would go any where..   Would put an Old king quad up against an 300 honda any day of the week.. :dan:
