:dan: I pick up my yellow Max XT next Tuesday, or I should say I deliver the check to them and they deliver the machine to my house.  Here's Bomb's official pic:

I'll post my own pics next week, it doesn't have the hand guards on it, nor the skid plates I'll be ordering soon, or the exhaust coating, or whatever else I can think of I need.

I just paid $200 deposit to hold my Yellow Max XT until I will pick it up Saturday. My out of the door price is $9,970. I think that it is good price but I have to add  5 hours drive each way. It will be hassle but I do not care. I want that sucker. I drove green XT at local dealer where I came to test drive Honda Rincon. I had to wait for rincon to be ready for drive so meanvile I ask to test drive Bomb. O my my I should have not done that because I got poisoned. I was almost happy when Rincon was sputtering and eventually died and could not be started. That was all I needed as excuse to buy Bomb. First I thought I will get just regular 800 but than I said hell I go for the gold and 800 Max XT it is. I can't wait untill Saturday.

They're delivering mine this afternoon, hopefully in less than an hour.  Five  hours one way, that's a long haul.  Yes, I did pay list price though.  No five year warranty, the 3 year was free, though, supposed to cost extra starting tomorrow.

Well, I bought my 800 XT in October, and just picked up my wife's 800 XT MAX two days ago.  She loves it, had ridden mine about 3 times and said we didn't need to wait for the new Bomb 650 to arrive in March, just get another 800.......... so we did!  These are some nice machines, but very spendy- I figure they better last us about 10 years now.

Welcome! How do you like the 25" Bighorns? I thought about buying that size since they are still taller than the stockers.
