I guess that makes me #58. I just picked up my new 800 max on Thursday and I love it! We had our first real snow storm of the year yesterday and it was great to ride around in snow.

I am new to ATVs and I was wondering about what experience people have had with plowing with their ATV. What is the largest plow you can effectively use on the 800 and what are good tires for snow?

I look forward to sharing my experiences with the group.

I plow with my Bomb 800 and it works great!!!  As far as a plow size, It depends on how big an area you want to do and how fast you want to do it!  The 800 can push any atv plow, but remember the bigger the plow, the deeper the snow the harder it is to move it! So depending on your tire width and if you plow with the blade angled will help determine your blade length.  I use a 50" Moose County plow and it works great. If i was to go with a larger blade I would get a 60" That gives plenty of over hang and remember the more you angle the blade the less over hang you get.  I am using the stock xt tires for now but I like the itp mudlite xtr's 27" I hope some of this info helps:)

I have the 50" BRP plow because it was all the dealer had in stock. It's not bad but it seems small (especially when it is at an angle). I have a lot of area to clear so I would like to get something taller and wider. Do you (or anyone else) have any comments on the standard vs. county (taper) design? By the way if this is not the right place to be asking these sort of questions just let me know where I should post instead.

Thanks.
