I have an 06 800 xt thah i use for comercial snow removal on sidewalks and entry ways.  Had it about 4 months.  Good thing it has bumpers, first cople days were spent learning wheelies and the bumper stopped me from going over two times.  Put about 30 hours on it in the last week pushing snow.  My thumb still hurts.  My only complaint is that the winch is burried behind the skid plate, so when the cable breaks, which it has done four time so far, it is almost impossible to get out.  any thoughts about how to fix this problem short of cutting a hole inn the skid plate.  I also use it for hunting and woods riding so I don't want to leave the winch exposed.

I am a now (well my wife is) a proud owner of a 2006 BRP Outlander 800 Max (wow that's a mouthful).  We just got it yesterday so I can not give any ride reports yet.  I personally have a 2006 LTR450 and my son has a LTZ250.  We are selling my wifes KFX700 and she will hopefully enjoy her new 4x4.

Actually she is coming off from a 700 so it should not be much of a change.  I have a 450 but it is a motocross bike.

My name is Chris and I have 2006 Red BRP Outlander 800 XT. I have put quite a few mods on it already. I have about 80 miles on it so far and love it.

07 Yellow 800 XT. Modded belt intake under the speedometer to keep the water out of the belt. Welded a peice of 3/16 flat bar to the bottom of the frame. Other than that it is stock.

Just got my Outty Max 800 and took it out for the first time this weekend. Man o' man is that thing fast. I had myself @270lbs. and my buddy @220lbs. still pulling hard at 65mph. Had to slow down because it kind of freaked me out. I had an absolute blast on it as did my daughter, 9 y.o., which was the reason I bought it. That bike could not have performed better. Completely beyond my expectations. Anyhow, just checkin' in.
