A few of us are getting together to ride:

Adams & Cumberland Counties- 36 miles of summer trail. During the winter season the trail system is expanded to 42 miles by using some dirt roads that are gated during the winter. Part of the trail system is shared with snowmobiles when there is sufficient snowfall. The trail is located between Big Flat and Pine Grove Furnace State Park. Access to these are from parking lots located at Big Flat along Shippensburg Road about 1-1/4 miles north of its intersection with Route 233 and on Piney Mountain along Bendersville Road south of Pine Grove Furnace State Park.
Contact: Michaux State Forest, 10099 Lincoln Way East, Feyetteville, PA 17222
Phone: (717) 352-2211

We will probably hit the trail head about 10 ish.

I just got off from the Pa State Forest Land Trails website and this looks like it will be a good one. The wife and I are ready! As it looks right now there should be about 8 ATV's for the trip. Like my brother above offered, the more the marrier, join us if you'd like.

AFTER ACTION REPORT
:ban::ban::ban:

Well we all got to the trailhead about 10 o'clock Sat. morning.  There were 10 machines in all.  Everything from simple hondas to Outties to my Polaris Touring.

We covered about 50 miles during the day, about 1/2 and 1/2 green trails and blue traile.  But, time wise we probably spent almost 3 times as much time on the blue trails.  These were the worse trails I have ever been on.  Picking our way up, over and around boulders and between very tightly spaced trees.  It was great!!!  Even got a little muddy!

We all had a great time and left no parts along the trail!!  Would highly recommend this trail system to everyone!! :dan::dan::dan:
