JR's has a huge parking area behind the bar...I'd say there's room for 100+ trucks/trailers.

You can also park on the street, and there's even another parking area along the trail.

can you just camp in the parking lot?  I think we may just take the motorhome and stay at the parking lot

That brings up a good question. How much of this is mud and how deep is the mud?

The mud doesn't get real deep in most places. I wouldn't buy a new set of tires for it. My kid did just fine last year with his stock Yammie Dunlops. If we hit it right the frost will be just coming out of the ground and the whole mess will be nice and slimey but not real deep. The soil there is pretty much clay/loam so it can get pretty sticky. It sure is fun though.....GOTT

doesnt the trail group club up there get pissy when us city folk come up there and ride in the mud tearing up the trail. I called up there last year and a guy went off on me telling me not to ride early when it is muddy.

The clubs have the power to have the DNR postpone opening the trails because of wet conditions. If they dont do it, they shouldn't bitch about it
