Finally got a firm commitment from my kid. We're both gonna be there. Decided to leave early and drive up rather than spring for a motel. Do we need to bring extra fuel out on the trail or will it be available somewhere?  Like its only up to $3.29 a gallon. Fifteen bucks to fill up a machine isn't so bad is it?  :pu:.....GOTT

Fuel should not be a problem, the trails are loops that are all tie back into the Silver Bay area.   If you have a tank to carry along its nice to know its there if you or someone needs it ;)

I too will be leaving around 6-6:30 on Saturday (wrench willing) with a play to day ride it and return to the cities.

I'd say I'm 80% chance at this point...

OK, the Ranchers are loaded on the trailer. Me and my dad will be leaving tomorrow around 9:00 a.m., and we will be going up to Schroeder (we're staying at Superior Ridge Resort/Motel). We will be riding in the Superior National Forest all day tomorrow, and then we will be driving down to Red Dot on Saturday morning.:aniwh:

Trails are about 50 miles so most machines should do that Ok......and yes there is gas available in town, off of a trail spur

GOTTOYS, not sure if you have room for another wheeler, but it would be nice to ride-share along if possible since gas has become so expensive.    Let me know if you have room, I can arrange to meet you at a convenient location near 35w.   Facing $120gas bill to go riding is becoming more of a headache each week :frown

Sorry guys, not gonna make it.  The shocks presented alot of challenge getting them in with the lift kit so she is not ready to ride yet.  Would like to ride soon though, maybe Spider Lake?

Have a great time!
