Would anybody be interested in riding at Red Top (near Isle, MN) on Saturday, June 9th? There is only about 25 miles of trails at Red Top, but there are hundreds of miles on the Soo Line, which is connected to the Red Top trail. They have a little of everything at Red Top (mud, rocks, water, hills). So, if anyone is interested, just post when you would be able to go there.:)

Red Top: MAP

Directions: Map of Isle, MN

The map above shows a green arrow on 5th Avenue South.

From Main street, the trail parking is about 1 1/2 blocks away on 5th Avenue South. We will meet in this parking lot at 9:00 a.m..

Could possibly have a few from here come down if it's early June. We won't be back from Tennessee until the 2nd week of May and probably will want to recoup some before another trip

Thanks for the PM  Folgers

Sure, I'll go....I'll try to round up a couple of friends also.   If any of you want to ride either the St. Croix State Forest, or the ATV trails in Danbury, WI....just let me know.  (I ride there almost every weekend from May thru October)

Red Top is fun ....although  I haven't ridden there in probably 5 years or so.

So what time should we be there by?

I was kinda thinking between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Will this work for everybody?:)

I should be able to come, if nothing else comes up before then.  If I do, I would probably bring one other with me.

I might be in for the Red Top ride. Haven't been there in a few years. I'll let you know as it gets a little closer.

Red Top is a great place to ride. There's a little of everything there (mud, rocks, water, hills). It should be a fun ride.:)

raptor660guy welcome to the forum. Your last trip brought you through my back yard in Moose Lake. General Andrews is a lot of fun. Did you make it to the Soo Pits?

Folgers I am still working out the details for the Red Top Trip. I'll let you know soon. I hope I can work it into my schedule. It will be a fun ride.

Still planning on a 9am start at the trail parking area?  I will be coming from an unfamiliar route....I am trying to gauge what time I need to leave Sat morn.  (I will be leaving from a campground 23 miles East of Hinckley)

is red top better than pine center?  i have a buddy from iowa coming up and he wants to run his new rincon so we are going to pine center or redtop, which is more fun (technical riding)  i dont want to be bored.

thanks,

Jason

Both have only about 25 miles of trails, but Red Top has a very technical section called the "Ten Bruin Adventure." Ten Bruin has everthing (steep hills, deep ruts, rocky sections, mud, water, tight turns). Pine Center is an easier trail, but doesn't get as busy as Red Top.
