Open ride at Red Dot/Moose Walk Trails in Silver Bay Saturday Oct 21st. Everyone welcome.

Meet at Silver Bay trailhead parking lot at 10am

Lets get one last ride in before the snowmobile season starts!

Yes off hwy 11 on hwy 5. Not the Beaver Bay lot

Silver Bay Trailhead:

From North Shore: Take hwy 61 to Silver Bay, Left on Hwy 5 (in town, W side), continue through and just out of town. Trailhead on right (large paved parking lot)

From Iron Range: From Hoyt Lakes follow Forest Hwy 11 until it turns into hwy 4. Continue on 4 to Hwy 5, go left. Trailhead is on left side

Bummer, I can't make it either... I have some guys from the Arctic Chat site from the cities coming up for a ride here, we are doing the OHV park on Sat. early and then in the afternoon riding out behind my house and having a fire out on the St. Louis River behind my house Sat. night :aniwh:

and then maybe a few more miles on Sunday on some local trails I know of out here in Forbes in the swamp... Cold doesn't bother me but I would prefer snow to rain for the precip. maybe stay a little dryer

Not a problem It's not a real organized ride anyway. Cementhead said he wanted to ride, I agreed to go with and posted it for anyone else that might like to come.

It would be nice to have sunshine, sure would make it a warmer ride. I have been in Aurora every day for the last 2 weeks, I do Utility locating and seem to get locate tickets for over that way every day. Today I didn't get any for there but came from Brimson to Hoyt Lakes and had to drive thru to get to Biwabik for a couple... Will have to get together with you one of these days and ride for sure, Maybe get you guys to come out here and take a spin in the woods on my own land and my 13 miles of personal trails behind the house out by my hunting shack....
