I am not sure what Kesa's plans are...but I think he plans on meeting you Travelodgers at the motel tomorrow night. I won't be off work until about 5:30/6:00 but I'll try to swing by your motel for a bit on my way home. I will also be stopping at the KOA to meet the Cementheads. Hopefully they will be able to follow me home in their tow vehicle and pick up my trailer at my place. It is about 15-20 minutes down the road from KOA. GMRS radios and Garmin GPS that can upload "tracks" would come in handy.

Agreed, hope you all have a great time. It really sounds like you guys are doing a superb job of testing the trail and making it just right for the people that will be along. Sure wish I could make it.

No Rain in the forecast until Sunday. Looks like the riders after the leader will be eating a bit of dust. If you have a Bandana it might come in handy. ....or we can set the pace at 5 mph.... lol.

Woo Hoo, we are going ridin again the this morning. A little extra ride...Yesterday's ride actually took all day. Very close to 9.5 hours out on the trail....not all riding time,,,,but out on the trail. We began the trip at close to 10:00 am and arrived back at the starting point at close to 7:30 pm. Overall it was a very good day. We didn't see any swamp donkey's (moose), but several of the crew did get to see a small black bear. We also had 4 ladies with us on the ride. Very nice to have the ladies along. Outlandish now has all my pictures, so I imagine he will have more up on the site soon. We even have a few pic's of Kesa playin in a mud hole and showing the POPO how to do water wheelies. Kesa's 28" Swamp Witches sure helped him out there. Can't wait for today's ride.

Well I can't say enough how much fun I had this weekend, First off I extremly honered to have met everyone, Outlandish, Big Jake, Mud Momma, and the Cementheads, What a great bunch of people. And also a huge thanks to Walleyeguy for hosting a staging area and to Mrs Walleyeguy for buying Chicken Lunch on Sunday. I hope to get together again asap, and look forward to meeting more people at the ATV parade in Silver Bay. I dont want to ruin what outlandish will write about the ride so im gonna let him do the narrative. Thank you so much guys for making the drive up and spending some time in our neck of the woods, I cant wait to come to yours! (as long as there is water wheeling!

I echo Kesa's comments above. "Well I can't say enough how much fun I had this weekend, First off I am extremely honored to have met everyone, Outlandish, Big Jake, Mud Momma, and the Cementheads, What a great bunch of people" I could not have said it any better so I won't......I am not so sure if Walleyegal and I can make the parade but we will try to re-arrrange our schedules. I know for one I'll be paying closer attention to the schedules of the "organized" runs that posted here so that we can try to attend them.

Hey Rick...you are quite welcome..glad to help out.   Perhaps we'll ride again soon in a ride down your way.  By not going to the "other" canyon, it gives us a good reason to plan a similar trip for next year.  We'll have to slid that side trip onto next year's run.

I know outlandish will be shocked to see this post.  Man, I also wanna thank Walleyeguy and Kesa for the superb ride Sat. and Sun.  You guys and Dawn and Jill are the best!!!!!  I had an awesome time and yes, this was our best trip ever.  Also, oohhhh, I just love "all my rocks"!!!!!  I will definately be there for your next ride, me and my little Honda 350.  Who knows, might be able to get my husband up there again, Kesa, you and Randy can talk Nascar all you want then.  Thanks a million.....I knew I've always liked Thunder Bay for one reason or another, now I know why......there's great people that live up there.  Love you all......

Thank you for your kind words Mudmom. It was our pleasure to host this ride and we are very happy that everything turned out well. We are very pleased that a good time was had by all. Now we have a problem....how do we make it better next year? Maybe we'll have to set up a BBQ at the Honeymoon Hilton and Big Jake can show off his butchering and BBQing skills....Oh well that will have to be determined at a later date. Where and when is the fall ride?
