Basically the only thing you can't bring across is potatoes. It appears as if everything else is fair game. One thing to keep in mind is to fuel everything up to the max at the Grand Portgage Indian Reserve about 3 miles from the border. You will save about 25% on your fuel prices over Canadian Prices for fuel. You are also permited to bring one full extra jerry can per vehicle when you cross the border. From the border to Thunder Bay it is about 45 minutes...so very easy to make to TBay and back on cheap fuel.

Kesa, how long a drive is it from the Soo to TBay about 6 hours? It will take me 10 to go home so there could be a chance I make it up there.

Hate to make an English class out of this but yes, if it was singular it would be potato, plural is potatoes. I don't make the rules.
