:pu::pu:That Folger had to cancel the pine center ride. But it looks like it's going to be a great day on Sat. So If anybody still wants to ride we can get together here and ride. There is a group starting at peggy's sues cafe in Wilow river at 8am for breaksfast. We could meet at Erine's in Sturgeon Lake. It's in the northwest corner of the exit. You'd take the exit and then take a left and go over the bridge then a right into the lot.Not sure if we can unload there but i check. But i know we can park and unload over on the other side at the Bar Doc's He's Wecomes it and the food is good also.So if your still up to it post it here. :thm::wel:

I'm going to try and make it and bring my friend, we'll see what happens.

Map and DNR details>  http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/trail_detail.html?id=12

If you are having breakfast at 8am is it fair to say the ride will begin around 9am +/- 10-15mins?  I'm coming from west of the cities and need about 2hours to get there (assuming wife approval is still good :)

the ride was going good until my engine stopped and ended it.  I haven't looked into it yet but it will not start and may have broke a timing chain.  I'll pull the engine apart tomorrow.  when I got home I started the pressure washer and blew the pump:pu: so this may not be my day.  I'll try it again tomorrow and maybe go a day without breaking anything.  It was nice meeting everyone and we will have to try this again soon.

I have some pics and Video that i'll post as soon as i can.   Probably will YouTube the vid, its 335mb.  The video includes Cementhead spraying the North Metro Club Prez with Mud....hehe

It was a first good run but lesson learned were:

1) 2-way radios needed (at least 3) for large groups.  We got separated as a group 2-3 times.

2) First rides = broken stuff.   We lost 4 wheelers (one axle, two to oil loss, and one hatched motor).

There are alot of riders between the clubs that were on-hand for the ride.   While the trails were pretty easy, it allowed us time to see all the trails.   The one closest to the freeway (East side) on the way back was the most muddy(video).    I enjoyed the west side on the narrow trails through the snow and the bumps in the sand.

Greg
