i personally like to do what i can on my own.. only reason i didnt attempt to fix the bike this time was cause of the situation with it having less than three hours on it. so, sure if you have a "stealth snorkel how-to" that would be a big help. i use to ride a 660R raptor so all this snorkel stuff is new to me. But i am def. a "do-it-yourselfer" if you need to email it.. send it to intoxicated_therapy@yahoo.com Thanks in advance

that one has some pics from on here.

http://webrebel.com/800/snorkel.html
that's another one showing some more info about it.

there are also premade kits available, but they cost around $200. mine cost about $60 for parts.

i`m gonna try some new slider shoes in it as mine are worn bad.it makes the governor slop around inside the outside primary sheave,...with the new "pucks"the slop is nearly gone...i so hope thats it

Well I just wanted to give an update on the warranty claim with my outty.  Can-am is going to cover the labor but not pay for the belt.  so its only costing $175 instead of $350   i'm chalking it up to a lesson learned and snorking that sucker as soon as i get home.
