Outlander 800 clutch kits now available. I have 5 coming in Friday, and 15 more a few weeks behind those. They are $194.90 shipped in the lower 48 states.

Thanks,

LOL, not as far as I know, but we can ship it to you via postal Airmail or Parcel post if you want, and the cost should not be too bad. Better yet, check to see if any of your countrymen need them or other similar items so you can combine shipping.

I can send it like a gift, but be aware that customs will usually catch these types of things.

Parcel post would be about $24.00 and Air Parcel would be about $33.00 with insurance.

Yes, I think it does require some special tools, and these may be Can-am only items the dealer has. The instructions only state that it is a qualified installer only type of job from what I recall.

there are a couple tools if you wanna spend the 125.00 to buy em. I called Robs and their machanics told Margret which ones they were. ones  a spreader for the secondary which if you look at the dalton instructions, looks like they leave the belt on. BUT it doesnt hurt to have it if you want to have the tools in ye box. the others were a primary holder and puller bolt

Basically all you need is a way to hold the primary when breaking the bolt loose and when torquing it. A strap wrench might work. Some guys have just wedged a block of wood in there to hold it. Several guys have used an impact wrench and no holder was needed but do not over tighten that thing.

The belt does not have to come off. Just replace every other fly weight and the spring and bolt it back on.

The 400 kits are actually more, they about $50.00 more than the 800 kits.

The Dalton kit is available if you would rather us ship it, since it is a much more complete kit.

thanks for the offer but did the levers / bits and belt at about 12000mile and refinished the cvt faces to remove wear marks, but did not change the spring,so at this very reasonable cost,as planning to do cvt clean and bit of a tune up will try this for now

I did my install the other day, what a breeze!:dan: No special tools needed. 19 mm wrench and my snapon hammer tapping on it to loosen the bolt. Then I used three socket wrench extenders to wedge between the rear swingarm pivot point and the spider housing thingy! touqued to specs and away I went.

Instructions say to remove the floorboards totally to be able to get at the bolts holding on the cover. I have the skids on which block two of the main foot peg bolts that stop the floor boards from comming off. I was able to manage without removing the boards, just removed all other connections so it would flex :ban:enought to get my loooooong bit in there to remove.

From my experience the EPI kit did litle more than raise the engagement rpm. I also lost a huge amount of engine braking (on steep hills) and it developed a belt squeal on deceleration.....

15THOUSAND?  Dayum!  Thats some riding, I'm impressed.

Any major issues with your 400 over that period?

What kit should I choose when I have bought stage III of Ron Woods?

Is it anything you can do to change the topspeed?
