Well seven hours to go at work then the wife and I are heading up to the U.P. staying at the Timbers in Bergland till Sunday. Been doing my thumb exercises all week hope it pays off, cant wait to smell that 800 2 stroke, Ill take some pictures, Outlandish if I send them to you can you post them for me? Well better get my work done so I can leave when that 7am bell sounds, ya all have a good weekend and Ill post back Monday.

Outlandish Ill get those pictures sent off some time this week, I only have a few the trails were too good to stop and take pictures, every trail was flat and fast.

Outlandish didn't have time to send any pictures yet, was busy all week, Saturday my wife and I are heading up to the Keweenaw (U.P.) for a week of sleddin so when we get back on the 29th Ill have some good pictures for you to post. Bastard! I'm going to Ontario the end of the month, gonna do some boondocking back to some lakes to try for some lake trout. Well unfortunately Im back from vacation and back to work, the trails were great a lot of snow and not a lot of other people the whole week we were there, so no close calls. Outlandish Ill send off some pics today not a lot, so could you post them for me? Thanks. Survey are you renting sleds in Canada? if not the trail permits are spendy if I remember right its around $135/week plus the sled has to have mirrors on both sides any-who have fun. Trails were groomed every day we didn't hit any real bad bumps till Friday when the temp hit 47deg. then the trails took a hit but a lot of them had a good deep base to start with. When we came back Sat. afternoon the trails around Bergland were showing a lot of snirt(snow&dirt) so hope your buddy got some good riding in. Thanks for posting the pics Outlandish. Survey I get 6 weeks a year I guess having 27 years in the same company has some perks. Its really hard to get back in the swing of things again, but had a great week sleddin the trails were flat and fast all week, if any body wants some nice riding Bergland has plenty of snow and the groomers are doing one heck of a job, from Sun-Thur. we pretty much had the trails to our selfs not much traffic at all then Thursday nite all the weekend warriors and so called sno-crossers were appearing, by then we had over 600 miles on so we came back Friday afternoon, all in all it was a 10 out of 10 for trail conditions cant wait to go back up.

Well its that time again VACATION TIME my wife and another couple are heading out in the morning to Bergland Mi. to check out almost 3 feet of new snow and get our last ride in for the year. Sure wish the snowmobile season was as long as the atv season, but still had a great year,after this next 5 days it should bring my total mileage this year to over 2,000 miles and no break downs, just cant beat that Ski-Doo reliability and Rotax power. Well last ride of the year went good last day my buddy blew a piston on the lake so now its over for sure for him. Another two weeks and the bombs come out of storage and get the camper ready.

Go for it Outlandish you will have a lot of fun with one of those and dont forget how much the ladies love those ''sport bikes''plus than the forum would finely have another sport rider. I have rode the 800 outty and it was really hard not to buy one, but if I want to do a little muddin I can always swap with the wife, I know its only a little 400 but its still a lot of fun, and then when the need for speed a-rises its back to the BAJA X. Like the commercial says ''try it you might like it''

Weather forecast is calling for a little lake effect snow every day that we are there so there should be plenty of the white gold to ride on. Well got back home sat. late everything went great, trails were real nice corners still icey but still fun riding, put over 500 miles on with no break downs. And like it goes everytime your on vacation it started snowing real hard when we left for home, oh well Ill be back there in another week. Theres some pics in the gallery.
