We had 3 inch here today, I heard a snowmobile this afternoon, they must have been testing it out and seeing if it still ran.

I hear snowmobiles all the way from Oct thru the winter. A guy in town here owns PlanetX which is a test track for sno-crossers to run on. He makes his own snow there and the race teams come from all over the country to practice, tune their sleds etc.. So we get to listen to screaming race sleds all winter looonngg. I really feel sorry for the people that live closer than I do

we,ve got a dirt stockcar track in town  on the north side  at the -OLD-  only  county fairgrounds

The race assc  goes to city concil meetings promises to quit racing by 10 pm and Never does

i can just barley hear it  across town  with windows shut and AC on

This revenue is the main sorce of imcome for the County Fair Board? You do the math

2- 3 inches  its staying cold now at least-so if we get an 1 or 2 every  few days  may be in business.

Otherwise  wait until real cold weather  and ride the River  By Staples [any snow blows in there]

River riding freaks me out! I keep waiting to break through or come around a corner and find open water that I was'nt ready for. But other than that it's fun.

I've only done it for short distances but it sounds like a long ride would be exciting
