Got a "Laser Grips" laser grip on a 1911 Kimber PRO CDP II and love it. There's no interference of the beam, but the older models like mine have an activation button on the upper front of the grip that sometimes I don't press hard enough. I think the newer ones (two-tone grips) could be better. I'm thinking about putting a thin shim inside the grip to reduce the distance the button has to move. Also got a front pistol grip w/laser for my Carbon 15 97S. There's a slight beam interference with the base of some bipods The laser beam gets cut in half and glares in my eyes. After trying 3 or 4 bipods I found one that has a smaller base (NoStar) and the angled rubber coated laser grip is a "CTC". The CTC laser dot matches up with the "EO-TECH 512" red-dot on the wall at 40'. Activation button is on the side of the grip and easier to use than the Kimber grip. Very happy with the lasers. Not much good for outdoors except at night. Perfect for home defense and CCW (unless you live in WI or ILL).
