My old man went to a gun show on Saturday and bought a new rifle. He says he has to get rid of one now. I don't know if its the law or just a personal thing with him but but he offered me his Parker-Hale 6 mm for 100 bucks  . I don't know much about this rifle any comments?(other than the fact I am a lucky SOB this thing is mint! )

6 mm Remington, I think the worst thing about this rifle is trying to get ammo but I have seen some for sale online. Dad has been reloading for it and I hope he will continue to do so, LOL! Now I gotta get a scope...

Any non-big box type gunstore should be able to order the ammo for you. Should be a fine rifle for 175lb or less type game. Some serious target shooters swear by the 6 Rem.

Had a look at the rifle on Saturday, its in very good condition...just got to get the registration over to my name and we are good to go (good old Canadian gun registry gotta love it  !

Update, shot two boxes of rounds off at the hunting camp gun is very accurate... hit a 12x12 piece of metal hanging from a tree on a little island at just shy of 300 yards many times a oldtimer dad hunts with swears by a 6mm, hunts moose with it.FWIW.
