Hello all. i ride an 06 800xt on 26 inch mudlite xl's this is my first 4x4. i've always riden sport quads. but i dont think i'll ever go back!

Welcome hughie, look at it this way, the 800 is basically a sport quad that you can go mudding and haul firewood with.

hello everyone..i just found this site.its nice to be able to chat with other ca-am fans out there.i fly a '07 500 outlander.i just love it.i was wondering if anyone had the same bike,i'm trying to do some upgrades and can't seem to find anything for my 500.i'm trying to find an aftermarket place to buy a slip on exhaust and a clutch kit.it seems to be impossible.i hope to find someone that was able to do these mods on theire 500.hope to heare a reply.

Welcome danny. In the Can Am section there is thread for 500 Outlander owners only. There are a few members here that have them. I am not sure if the clutch kit and exhaust are the same for the 500 as they are for the 650/800. I would post a question about it in the Can Am section, it will get the most views there.

Hi Zack..Thanx for the reply!!I was looking for the 500 forum but can't seem to find it.I only saw the one for the 650.By the way,the set-up you have on your 800 is exactly what I want for my 500.I just love the bark of that HMF pipe.I can't see why I could'nt put that pipe on my 500 being that we have the identical engine other than bore and stroke.I also contacted Dalton Ind. about a clutch kit,they have one for the 400 h.o. I'm thinking of trying that out.Anyhow,nice chatting with you.Take care and ride safe!!
