Outlandish here. I'm 47 years old, semi-retired (only work 2 jobs now LOL) and live in N. Minnesota. I've been riding ATVs for about 4 years now. I have 2 adult children and a 14 year old Outty rider. I'm the one that built and runs this place. I currently ride an 05 Outlander 400 XT and I just love to ride. :)

Hi everybody!  A little bit about me...killswitch.  I'm the mom of a 14 year old who loves riding atv's as much as his dad, Outlandish.  I manage an apartment complex of 62 apartments for the elderly and disabled and 16 townhomes for families.  Started out sharing a Rally with my son, and now we share an '03 Outlander.

I am ruapache, live in SE MN and am retired. Have 3 grown children and some grandkids and one who really likes to ride a little Dinli 90. I try and get to some atv pulls in the summer, started doing this about 2 years ago, I had pretty good luck last summer and just starting this summer. Have only been to one pull this year and took first in my class with a 450 Kodiak.:ban:

Like to snowmobile also if snow conditions allow it. Have enjoyed this board and riding with members. Hope to get up and do some rides soon.

:gp:   Great job Outlandish

I just joined as a new member. My name is Piefoot. I currently live in a small mountain town in the far Northeast corner of California. The town is Chester and sits on the shore of Lake Almanor. I retired as the local Postmaster last January. California is way too expensive on a full salary, not to mention the retirement anuity. We are planning on selling the house and relocating to the McCook Nebraska area. Can't wait to do some ATVing in the Black Hills of South Dakota and finding other new places to ride. Great forum. Keep up the excellent work.

My name is Greg Jacobs I have been ATVing for little over three years now. My wife has been atving for the same amount of time and this is definately our main hobby. First ATV was 02 Rubicon, then my wife took over on that one, bought an 02'Grizzly, and then my wife just recently bought an 05 Grizz. Now I can steal her new tires, ah the benefits of owning the same machine. We both work for the federal government, ten years now. Lived in Buffalo, NY for 22 years, then moved to Dallas Texas been here for neary ten years now. In the process of moving to the country so I can open my ATV proving grounds, lol. Outlandish has a great site here, and really loves ATVing ,this site shows. Nice to meet everyone.

Hello, RCSparky here.  I am from the Black Hills of South Dakota.  I have an 87' Polaris Cyclone which is starting to show its age, and buying a new 500 Sportsman this next weekend.  Really looking forward to the new one, have never riden anything but the Cyclone which has been starting to give me some troubles(just wore out I think).  My wife and I enjoy camping and riding in the Black Hills, so many trails. Really enjoy your site here, have gotten alot of useful information.  Thanks!!!:thm:

Hi RCSparky. We are glad to have you here. Hope you enjoy it. Congrats on the new wheeler! That will be like a night and day difference between the Cyclone and the Sportsman. I have always wanted to ride out in your area, maybe someday.

Hi!!!  I am Malinda.  I am 50+ yrs of age but not the speed limit!!  My husband, Fisherman and I live in Aurora, MN.  We own a 96 Polaris Sportsman 500.  Actually it is too big for either of us.  He bought it used and "just had to have that one".  We enjoy riding when we do but has been few and far between lately due to health reasons for both of us.  The hubby  enjoys fishing (hence the name Fisherman).  We both belong to the Aurora Wheelers ATV Club.  I am a domestic engineer,  on the Planning and Zoning Commission in Aurora (which I have been secretary since 1990), and secretary of the Administration Board, Sunday School teacher, and whatever else at our church.

I am a fan of the MN Vikings, enjoy watching the MN Twins play and watching Lifetime movies.  I have a collection of bird figurines and enjoy family and friends.  I also enjoy quiet time so I can do my daily reflections and such.

Hi, I am RDL520  from So. CAL.  My wife, son, and I have 2 Honda 250 Recons a 2001 and a 2002 ES. We ride in the high desert. My wife likes to explore and our son just likes to go!

The ES has been a real pain in the repair department! The angle sensor can fail or it can break. I have tried 2 of the WEB  parts dealers and have found both very reputable.  The WEB parts dealer sent repair parts that arrived at my front door in 3 days ARO! And I did not have to leave home to find them.  I also bought a Clymer manual; it was worth the expense.

When the angle sensor was ruined, it's mating electrical connector was damaged too. Although it still mates and makes contact. The on line parts catalog does not list this as a replacable part. I gooped it up with silicon seal. It works for now. Any ideas on a OEM replacement?

Happy trails

Hello all, I am in South Eastern Minnesota. Outlandish joined my atv website http://www.msnusers.com/atvridingthetrails last year at this time...  anyways, I was checking out who has joined and who posted pictures and posted their websites...Here I am! Excellent Website you have Outlandish!!

I am 43, Municipal employee, living on the families farm. Mainly mowing and upkeep, the fields are rented out and the woods and river are excellent for riding my 1999 Arctic Cat 4x4, and 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660, and of course deer hunting, and target shooting at my range by the hillside. I have been at Snake Creek, and Trout Valley ATV trails.
