Hello everyone,  This is a great site! My name is Franz " Vic " Winter. I am 68 years old and retired 10 yrs ago. I was a NYS Conservation Police Officer (game warden) for 32 years stationed in Otsego County and live in Gilbertsville, NY. Before I was an ECO I worked as a NYS trapper on the rabies control program, started working for them in 1957. Have been married for 48 yrs. My wife and I still camp with a tent on occasion (by choice). We both have atvs, mine is an 04 400 Outy and her's is a 400 Sportsman. I love the nimble handling of the Outy but wish it had a little more top end. Am thinking of buying a 650 or 800 outy but have heard of some problems like speedometer, limp mode, motor stalling when the winch is used. I don't know how extensive the problems are and am not sure if I should wait a year or if I should just get one and enjoy.
