I got these in and mounted today. I haven't taken them out for a spin yet, that's tomorrow but I thought I'd share a few pics. These are SuperGrip Super Lights in 27x9x12 fronts and 27x12x12 rears mounted on stock XT rims. I used a 1" spacer on the fronts to prevent the tie-rod ends from rubbing against the inside of the tire. With 5lbs. of air in them for the pics they measured 1" short coming in at 26". Ground clearance is now up to the advertised 12" front and rear. I ordered the spacers & tires from Matt at atvoutfitters.com and let me tell you something about Matt & the company....THEY ROCK!!! He gave me one heck of a good deal on the tires, $288 for all 4, that included shipping to my door in 2 days. And his service is absolutely second to none! More... Don't mind the left rear tire, it's mounted backwards. I didn't catch it at the tire shop. Taking it back for them to fix/reverse tomorrow....ARGH! Very similer (sp) tread pattern to the mudlites on my spare Honda. I like the mudlites but I have had problems with punctures. They seem to tear right at the tread in an area that is tough to plug. Nice ride.

The spacing between lugs is also a little wider and the SG's have an awesome "rim guard" that recess the rim about 1/8-1/4" back in from the outter edge of the tire.

UPDATE.... I have a few rides on these now and I've noticed that the front end "wonders" alot more at high speeds (50+ mph) compared to the stock ACT's. Anyone with these tires or the MudLite X/L's have similar results at higher speeds? Any air preasure suggestions to help? Otherwise I think they ride just as smooth as the ACT's. They hookup great on hard pack and are AWESOME in the sand, most of all the "sugar" type sand. I haven't hit the mud with them yet. I do feel I've lost a tad bit of "off the line" snap but it isn't that bad at all. Power sliding is ALOT harder now too. When the teeth grab while hard fast cornering...it launches you straight forward. Letting off the gas a bit during aggressive cornering keeps it well under control while still allowing to goes throught the corners just as fast. More updates to come as I get more seat time on these. So far I think they are a GREAT "bang-4-ya-buck" at $288.

I believe any tire with big lugs is going wonder a bit, not sure you can fix that. My swamplites do it, shake the handlebars too. Perhaps balancing might help.  For $288 I would put up with it.

I sent him an email at matthewbell@atvoutfitters.net and asked if they carry them. They have alot of stuff that isn't posted on their site. If there is a tire you want, Matt can most likely get them. Or just call him. He's good people up there for sure.
