Certain sections allow embed?

Embedding is a bit different on our forum. Here is a How-To I wrote on it:

1) On You Tube, find the video you want to post.

2)Copy the code in the field that says Embed:

For this video, here is that code:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OO4VrN2vGqQ&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OO4VrN2vGqQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

3) Click in the post window and hit enter a few times, then paste the YouTube code..

4) Now select just the URL from that code:(select, right click and copy)
Select after value=" and before the next " or in other words, between the quotation marks
So in this case:
http://www.youtube.com/v/OO4VrN2vGqQ&hl=en

5) Click back in the top of your edit window to get your curser back up near the top or to wherever you want the video.

6)Click the Flash Button in the post editor:

7) Paste(right click, select paste) just the URL that you copied from all that code into the flash window that pops up when you click the button.

It should look like this:

[flash=320,256]http://www.youtube.com/v/OO4VrN2vGqQ&hl=en[/flash]

8) Notice the 2 numbers after flash=?  Change the numbers to the numbers in the original code:

width="425" height="355".....without the width and height or quotation marks

Once you know it worked just delete that large bunch of code that you originally pasted

It sounds a lot harder than it is.

Give it a try.
