Unless they start leaking I wouldn't worry about it. I have an 06 and ride through a LOT of water and only once did I experience any slippage but that was through some pretty deep water and only lasted a few seconds. I believe your 07's should have the updated CVT cover?? Be prepared for an AWFUL grinding noise every time you come out of water from the front brakes, it's a little freaky at first but totally normal. You might want to go through and grease all your connections.

Welcome,
Some 07s need the upgraded cvt cover. If you get a chance to pull the cover check out the number on the inner cover right behind the rear drive. 611400 is the "problem" part and should be covered for replacement. Mine has yet to be replaced and I have had no issues in water. Like RaiderMike, I had a bit of slippage one time and it lasted only a few seconds at the most.

:wel:jughead.  You have found the right forum.  Best on the web!  You have been blessed my son. :)

I have an 06 with 2950 miles on it, have done nothing to waterproof it including the cvt or the air box.  Never had any water or belt slip.

Usually water comes into the cvt via the back plate o-rings on the cvt case, the cvt air intake, or past a heat warped cover perimeter.  None of those places have given me any problem.

The only water (no deep mud) I do is stream crossings, some up to top of tires, some of it fast moving also.

What I do is keep my thumb in the throttle, don't let off at all while in the water.  Medium rpms maintains pressure in the cvt case.
