The Red River Riders Moorhead/Fargo, Northwoods Riders Bemidji,
Akeley Paul Bunyan ATV Trail Riders and Forest Riders Park
Rapids invite you to an ATV ride to help raise funds for
WDAY WW II Honor Flight – Recognizing the sacrifices and
honoring the courage of North Dakota and Minnesota’s World
War II heroes.

RIDE DETAILS

Saturday, July 21, 2007

Stompin Grounds Lodge and Camping

There will be a silent auction from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 Items will be located inside the Stompin Grounds Lodge.
 The club will also accept cash donations for the Honor
Flight.

The Stompin Grounds is a bar/restaurant.  Breakfast is
served Sat & Sun, starting at 8am.
The Stomping Grounds does have a few RV/camping sites
available.  Other lodging is available in the area.

The club hopes to raise $1,500 for these World War II
veterans and their escorts.   They fly from Hector


International Airport in Fargo, North Dakota directly to
Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C. They will be taken to a
welcome reception hosted both by Minnesota and North Dakota
Senators, Congressmen, and other dignitaries. The next
morning they will be taken by bus to the World War II
Memorial. Following lunch they will be taken on a tour of
Arlington National Cemetery followed by a wreath laying at
the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

If you are unable to attend the ride but would like to make
a donation, make checks payable to “Honor Flight”  with a
memo of ATV Ride and send to:

the Fargo American Legion Post # 2 whose treasurer is
