ATVAM's largest fundraiser for the year is just around the
corner. That would be the Sno-Barons 40th annual Hay Days
Snowmobile Grass Drags and Swap Meet, which is September
9th & 10th, 2006 near Lino Lakes, MN. HayDays is an
important fundraiser for the ATV community and provides our
volunteers an opportunity to meet new ATVer’s while helping
ATVAM with a major source of revenue.  Additional perks
are; free admission with onsite primitive camping for
volunteers.

We still have plenty of openings to fill to make this event
successful and a good time. We are doing Hauling Service,
Staging area. The Haydays committee has broken this event
down to five important details to make this event
successful for our volunteers. They are as follows.

Base Camp Control - Check in/out volunteers as they come
and go on their shifts. Check in/out supplies such as
vests, and name badge holders. Needed Friday thru Sunday.

Hospitality - Prepare and serve meals to our volunteers,
then clean up. The menu, food and beverages have already
been selected and on site. Needed Friday thru Sunday.

Staging Coordinator - Determine what type of hauling our
customer needs and relay information to our hauler. Needed
Saturday and Sunday.

Hauling Service - Operate an ATV with or without a trailer
(trailers provided) to provide hauling service to swap meet
customers. Age 18 or older can help with the Hauling
service. Needed Saturday and Sunday.

Assembling/Tear Down - Help set up base camp, assemble
trailers, aisle markers. Needed Friday mid morning and
Sunday late afternoon.

The committee members need to hear from you ASAP so we can
place you on the schedule and fill in our openings. Let us
know if you are FLEXIBLE!!!

Pre-registration is required because walk-in's are no
longer permitted. It also makes planning this event much
easier.

Recruit a friend(s) and make the job more fun!  If you or
anyone you know would be interested in volunteering or
would like more information, please contact one of the
committee members listed below.

Thank you for your support of ATVing in Minnesota!
