Just reading about a Kawi PWC with a supercharged 250hp jet pump engine. The ad said 0-30 in well less than 2 seconds. Seats up to 3 people. Its got a very deep vee racing hull. No top speed is mentioned anywhere (for insurance reasons?). Problem I see is a lot of lakes are putting up speed limits signs, enforced. Kawi only cost about $11,000, less than many other weaker PWCs. Anyway....

250 HP for only $11,000? Thats a good deal, even if it is just a hull with an engine in it. Its especially a good deal when you consider that a Yamaha Rhino cost the same amount, and in stock form only makes 22 HP at the rear wheels. I wish the ATV and side x side manufacturers weren't so afraid to put a little more horsepower in these things...

Two bicycles hanging safely in the garage, one a skinny tire Bianchi Veloce, hand made, the other a fat tire Specialized, one of their better ones, both clip-in riding shoes. Yeah, I've fallen straight over onto concrete a couple of times, thinking I was out of the clips and obviously not. Very unforgiving. The Bianchi, you can tell as soon as you take off, you've never been on a bike like it before. Seems alive, agile, smooth, need to get back on that thing, dammit.
