I collect GMRS and FRS walkie talkies. Unlike the CB radio these work, just be on a hill when the others in your party are in the valley or woods...

WWI, II, Vietnam, Korean era Field Phones. (foreign ones too to an extent)

Crank Telephones, the ones where you had numerous families on a party line, you had to crank the generator (magneto) to call the operator or ring the assigned code to call your neighbor... (then everyone would listen in to catch the latest gossip) I dont recall the crank phones but remember the 8 party line we were on... a friend used to dig and burry telephone cable, he would bring me all the extra, and temperary line...I probably have close to 10 miles of 4 line wire.

.22 pistols and revolvers, these are cheep in price, and .22LR ammo is cheep too... I collect others but thats another message board (gunsnet.net)

Surplus Military field stuff, and products...

Silver US and Canadian, I like the ones that look their age and not the pretty one's that look like they were made yesterday and put in a plastic holder...

Cast iron banks (piggy, black man, clown...) These cast iron firgues were small hollow and were held together with 1 screw, they had a coin slot in the back to place the coins.

Brass objects...shot glasses...lighters...Marlboro and Cammel stuff (damn, check ebay)...

Somebody has to collect this stuff...

You must be an active eBay'er. With all that collecting, how do you find time to ride LOL. I used to collect stuff ( had a really nice knife collection) until my son's friends decided that they should have it.........I had a big collection of old tobacco tins (old, not the Prince Albert kind) but I just ran out of room for them and put them on eBay. Then there's my record album collection............arrgh!:cry

Actually I collect the Marlboro miles for their products, Philip Morris can no longer place the word Marlboro on any of their products. check ebay, enter Marlboro and see what some of these people are willing to pay for "miles" products with the word marlboro on them.

I have come into a suppily of wooden cigar boxes (one is Cuban) and a cigarette tin.

Camel tins were given with a (?) few pack purchase, I have a few tins full of wheat back pennies. with Minnesota cigarette tax going up 75 cents a pack August 1st, its time to quit or buy them at the casino, or Iowa, or Wisconsin.

Wow, I almost forgot about the kerosene and oil glass lamps, and the brass lamps I find too...

I also have the old cash register from the old Salem Store, its a National, weighs over 200 lbs, wooden drawer for the cash, and the bill holders are big for when the money was larger size, the bill holder downer moves over, and not back.. I paid $5.00 for it because it was locked shut... a buddy took it apart, changed some springs and oiled it. Now yah crank the crank, the bell rings for a sale and the drawer pops open... (no money, just alot of keys!) never could get the "charge" key to work, Never tried the printer for the receit...

I look for cheep bargins!

That cash register sounds pretty cool........I hear ya on the .75 tax, I mean "health fee" ....going to be quitting soon here. I'll be damned if Pawlenty is getting that money from me too.

You must have a lot of room to be able to collect all that stuff:sm:

I have smoked cigarettees for the last 27 years, have lots of Marlboro stuff... Time to quit, I remember when you got change back from your dollar for a 2 pack purchase, and when I swore to quit when they reached a buck a pack. Now its going to be $30.00 a carton for genaric "Worth" I buy at Kwik Trip. They dont do me any good, not suppose to smoke at work, I figure if I just keep busy, and cut way down.... who knows....

That reminds me I have 2,000 Marlboro miles to send in, maybe get some lanterns:)
edited for spelling...
