How many of you are double towing? I have a 2004 Jayco Baja and considered trading it in on a new unit that can carry an ATV on a front mounted deck on the tongue, however they were asking too much. So, I decided to design and build a frame mounted receiver hitch under the pop-up and tow the ATV behind it when I need to take the ATV camping. This way I do not need to take out the pop-up when I just go ATVing. It pulls effortlessly; you just need to remember to unhook the ATV trailer BEFORE you back up!!!

Most western states permit double towing, here is what NM law states:

a vehicle shall be permitted to pull two units, provided that the middle unit is equipped with brakes and has a weight equal to or greater than the last unit and the total combined gross weight of the towed units does not exceed the manufacturer's stated gross weight of the towing units

Very nice looking rig!
Here in Manitoba we are not allowed to double tow, except if the camper is a fifth wheel one.

I believe the same applies here in NC.

Minnesota has an overall length limit if double towing, not that I can remember what it is.
