Have heard good and bad about SP3, mostly Bad(expected).

Other than a new restore point, anything I should do before letting it in?

Yeah, DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!

It crashed my computer, and I lost everything. This computer still isn't like it was before the crash. SP2 is good enough. If you are gonna download SP3, make sure you schedule an appointment at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc., because it WILL :pod:up yer computer. :hp::hp::hp:

I was told by dell if there is no problems with computer then do not install sp3

We have 3 XP machines, one has been upgraded to SP3. Install went OK but I've seen very little difference in performance.

I installed SP1 on my Vista machine and it is faster
