Atthe request of a couple of people here, I thought I would post up pics of one of my other hobbies, cars.  I own 2 Mustangs, a 2004 Cobra and a 1992 LX Hatchback.  Both of them are heavily modded.  I won't go into detail because it would take me forever, but feel free to ask question and I will check back and answer them.

Here is the 2004 Cobra after stage 1 mods (500hp and first level a/v work)

And here is the current state working on stage 2 (700-1000hp, air ride suspension, insane a/v with 27" screen where back seat used to be, seperate a/v system for trunk, roll cage, full compliment of color changing guages, etc. etc.)

The 1992 Mustang was a $100 wreck, bashed in the front, some rust, non-running, etc.

It has been taken down to the frame and completely rebuilt.  There is no part, no screw on this car that has not been painted, powdercoated, polished, etc.  It is now a bored and stroked 331 with a T-trim Vortech supercharger.  We painted it Pepper Grey Metallic which is the exact paint code used on "Eleanor", the 1967 Mustang in Gone in 60 Seconds.  It is almost done and about a month away from beig on the streets after over a year of working on it.

Thanks guys.

I use photobucket.com to host all of my pictures/videos.  It asks you what size when you upload your pictures to their site and I always choose the forum default/size which I think is 640x480.  I really like photobucket, very easy to use and free!

When you have photos hosted elsewhere click on image and insert away.

Doesn't hurt to be courteous to those out there that are still on dial-up. It'll be next week before they get to see all those pics. LOL.

Bandwidth is another issue but I'll leave that to the black and red. :)

Very nice collection. With my two left thumbs, those puppies would never run again. I admire your abilities to rebuild vehicles.

Thanks guys.  I wish I could take credit for all that work but I cannot.  A friend of mine, JR, is my Mustang expert and does all the body work, paint work, fabrication.  I do almost all of the design and decisin making and supply the funds.  I have defintely wrenched on both cars and painted brake calipers and such, but I mainly just handle the bolt on stuff.

That's what Jay Leno does, gets up in the morning, puts on his denims and goes works on his cars, hardly goes anywhere else.

If you see his bio it's interesting and of course funny as hell.

Again, nice work!

Yeah, Jay Leno is one lucky guy to live the life he lives.  But he is a true enthusiast and knows everything about every single car he owns.  A lot better then the type of guy who goes and buys a Vette and then putts around in it and knows nothing about the comraderie or the lifestyle. :hmr:
