I'd like to know also.  My dealer didn't know what " gearbox oil" was and I spent 40 minutes on the phone explaining to him that the 800 has three different Oils,  Engine, diff, and gearbox.  Finally the dealer checked his shop manual and located the correct oil and told me they have it in stock.  He further said that he would call BRP to find an aftermarket replacement for me.  Two days later I spoke with him and again he stated he didn't know what I was talking about and  later stated the engine oil and gearbox oil was the same.    :pod:

Thanks Kraked.:)

I found the post a few days later after I posted. Went to Can-Tire and bought the 75-140 Syn. For 28 Oz. it cost me $19.99.:puke:

Make sure you use the Synthetic Chaincase Oil, it very important. The 75w90 gear oil is to thin and the trans is made and set up to use the chaincase oil.
