We I took the wife and kids ( 2yr + 4yr ) to Snake Creek Trail south of Wabasha MN today. I have never been there before and it was a little technical and too much for the 2 year old to handle for 1 trip arround the 14 mile loop which took us 2 hours. Very Hilly / steep as it is in the bluff country in SE MN awesome views and colors of the trees. This trail would be pretty tricky when it is wet or raining because of the steep hills. Sue and I will go back again before the snow flies as it will be a really fun ride with out the kids---I think Grandma needs the kids when we go again...Then we will hit the two other trails in the same area further south. Anybody been there? or at the other 2 trails down there? Two Bears

I have been to snake creek, trout valley and the SE Mn trail. We ususally ride them all in one day. They are only about 25 minutes from where I live. I believe the SE trail closes end of Oct. The SE trail goes thru alot of farm county along fields and woods, but it is nice, pretty easy. Trout valley is a little rocky but in the bluffs and pretty and nice outlooks. If you decide to ride this area again let me know and maybe we can hook up as I live north of Rochester.
