Ok so i am getting close to 70 miles on my new King Quad a Paul Bunyan the fisrt Day out As i leave the trail system foor the forest road theres a gravel pit play area[second time there that day] there a small steep gravel hill -i've been here maybe 9 - 10times in the past. I drive round the back side[i am alone] to scope out both sides of hill climb it and back over other way .Next i stop 1/2 up in low diff lock and try to finish climb nope dig in ok back down-not to steep- and take a short run up and over, Now for the really Stupid part on the back side of the hill theres 2 trails up i decide to climb second one-just as front tires are cresting i say to my self Oh  . Yep its just a 4 ft cliff on other side and very very steep rest of way down lol- So as King Quad is 90 staight up and down i bail off to the left rolling down hill- not knowing if wheeler is going straight or headed for me.I sit on ass at bottom of hill just as wheeler lands on tires still running -rest of story later folks lol Yep i 360 end for ended a brand new King Quad Attachment: new trunk box.jpg (Downloaded 91 times) Last edited on Sun Aug 28th, 2005 11:00 pm by roosterado9 |

So i am alittle shaken up at this point i leave it running fix up wrecked rear trunk try and call buddy at home on cell phone -no answer- so i see aux light and display is eyed i push it back into place cracking something ? i snap a plastic cover in front of seat back into place - mean whiles Aux lite/display seems to be forming itsself into sorta how its spose to look -so i am 25 miles from camp-by gravel road and ditch trail - and 15-18 from gas[i got 1/4 tank ] -so i hop on ride -seems to track ok keep going going 30- 40 50mph all seems well?rode it 30 miles that evening and 30 miles of trail and forest road At Foothills today- alls well--- the plastic thats is broke will be cheaper to fix myself then my $500 deduct on insurance Man i have made a conssesion to the Gravel Pit Gods from now when othesr climb i stop and rest watch i give up gravel pits officially Amen

Wow glad your OK buddy.....Probably a good thing you didn't try to ride it out.....plastic is cheap to fix, bones aren't
