Is this just for Minnesota residents visiting Wisconsin with ATV's? Last ime I traveled through La Crosse I got cought in one of them famous 25 mph zones on a four lane highway, and me having a Minnesota tag, had to post bond.

Some of these laws would be nice around here, but hard to inforce.

There's a big conference this week between WATV group, DNR, Foresty Service, Land Management, Forestry Companies, Dealer represntatives, etc to update WI ATV laws and bring them up to todays technology.

Principal matters being discussed is the 48" wide limit, and machine weight limits (900lbs). Also something has to be done about UTV's that exceed these limits.

Hope they don't decide to lower the 96db limit. They've killed the aftermarket wheel business for dealers, might as well kill the aftermarket muffler sales also.

Gov. Doyle would likely outlaw ATV's if he had his way. Unless the Indian casinos didn't agree...:frown
