Join us for the AWF fall ride. Over 200 miles of trails in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest which includes over one million acres of publicly accessible land.

Fall ride will be based  at Moose Jaw and Idle Hour resorts near Park Falls Wisconsin. Please let us know if you can make it.

The  dates for a Park Falls/ Moose Jaw  ride? Sept 14,15,16.

This is where we did the ATV Nation ride in 03. Great trails, super nice campground

Other Cabins

All the cabins are rented at Moose Jaw (campsites are available) however just down the road is the Idle Hour Resort.

http://www.idlehourresort.com/info.cfm

They are just 1 1/2 miles from Moose Jaw on the same road and are ATV friendly. You can ride the road between the 2 places. They are very reasonable and they do have a full liquor bar onsite so you would not have to travel for your nightly imbibing LOL.

2 Bedroom Cottage: $450/wk $80/night
3 Bedroom Cottage: $$585/wk $100/night

Killswitch and I will be reserving a cabin there.

MOTELS in Park Falls (22 miles)

Northway Lodge 715-762-2406

Super8  715-762-3383

Park falls Motel 715-762-3872

All non Wisconsin riders need a Trail Pass. these can be purchased any place that would sell fishing licenses or online for $18. I have been told all money from the sales goes to trail construction and maintenance.

Wisconsin registration or an ATV non-resident trail pass decal.  If the ATV will be in Wisconsin more than 15 consecutive days, then it would need to be registered in Wisconsin. Funds from the non-resident trail pass program will be designated for use as trail aids and related costs to enhance all Wisconsin ATV recreation.  The trail pass can be purchased online at our Online Licensing Center or over the counter at any license sales location.

The $18.00 non-resident ATV trail use pass is valid from July 1st through June 30th.  The trail pass must be permanently affixed by its own adhesive in a highly visible location on the forward half of the ATV. Once affixed, the sticker may not be removed or transferred to another ATV.

There are some WI ATV laws that involve width and db of exhaust system, I assume that it doesn't matter what state you are from, you have to play by their rules when in that state.

I have had several quads that were over the 48" limit and never had a problem.

They mainly check reg. and if your to loud they will check that. If you can get between the posts (a little over 50") on the trail you should not have a problem.:2cent:

My wife and I have over 3000 miles on ours in Wi. and CAN-AM OUTTY 800 is right we have been checked almost a dozen times in Wi. and all they do is check our reg. This year may be different I have heard that some people in the Black River Falls area are complaing about the load pipes and I seen on the WATVA site that they are going to do db. checks in some areas in the month of June. As far as the 48'' width my wifes is over that and they have commented to her that she must get muddy cause the tires stick out of the wheel wells. If you respect them and there trails you should not have any problems.

We got our campsite booked at Moose Jaw for the ride hopefully ''our neighbors wont keep us up all nite''
