My neighbor is an expert fabricator and is into sprint cars, etc. Just for fun he is building a sport quad from scratch (frame, a-arms, swingarm, etc) except for the engine, a stroked KTM 525. It looks pretty cool. I remember seeing a similar quad in his shop a few years ago that had a Kawi 900 engine in it. I asked where it was and he said he had gotten rid of it.

Turns out his kid (in his 30's) approached a sand dune so fast that when he hit the bottom of the hill, instead of going up, it just augered in and damn near killed him. So the KTM is a little more sane.

OK, this is kinda cool I thought. Then he shows me an engine sitting on his bench. It is a Suzuki Hayabusa, 1300 cc's and about 200 hp, for his next project - the ultimate Rhino!

I'll be sure to post pictures here but no way I'll ever get into that machine. Pull up next to him on your Can AM 800 and your dick's gonna go limp pretty quick.
