and to think i ride my mt bike of those kind of trails. the flume trail up at tahoe, if you fall like that no need to worry if things are still on your body.......as you will be dead. long drop ( not a hill side) of about 500 feet.

come on you would love riding the tahoe flume trail. starts at lake level, goes up about 1500 feet in four miles, this part is dirt road. then on to the flume it's self, a good 1800 feet above lake tahoe, more dirt road and single track, then on to the pacific crest trail....another 2000 feet up, the view is fantastic. i belive a friend has some photos posted on line, if i can find the address i will post a link for all to see.:thumbs:

Sounds really great! Would love to see some photos of that. Does that route get a lot of ATV travel?

The only time I don't have a problem with heights is when I'm at the bottom looking up!!!
