The best I have ever found was a pair of
'Choppers' :thumb2:

Kinted yarn inside deer skin mittens
keeping the fingers together is the
best way to keep them warm

Snowboard mittens, with removable liner. Add a heat pack between the mitten and liner if it's really cold.

Works GREAT!

Ya, that's what I got for the wife, some Burton's.

I was thinking that mittens might hinder my navigation of the quad, but I have no experience with mittens of any kind. They seem like they might be cumbersome, don't know.

The "choppers" above seem like they wouldn't hold up if they got wet/snow.

With well-sized mittens (read "big"), I have no problems. However, it depends on what your hands can... er... well... handle!

I typically ride with my ski-gloves, but when the temp gets below 20 I go mittens.

Still have good circulation in my hands, thankfully!
