And if our seven cities are nuked (likely at the same time as Isreal) I'd bet the Russians would finish us off at the same time with their missiles in our weakened, confused state. China would likely hit Taiwan and Japan and Hawai. There's reports that China has all our aircraft carriers targeted now. Our nuclear subs would tear up Russia but their population is too disbursed to damage their infrastructure that much. especially in the Urals and Siberia.. It likely would happen before the next election for obvious reasons. Only way to avoid above scenario would be to nuke Iran first. Which the politicians could never agree on. I'd give America about one year to live. So have fun while ye may...

But if they did get hit the whole country would lose electricity and all communications. The whole infrastructure would collapse. No gas pumps would work, gas heating gone, no paychecks or banking, no drinking water unless you have a generator and a well. There will be marauding gangs from the cities out to steal and kill for food and water. It's great for a wilderness survivalist but how long could he last. My bet is that the Russians would use their missiles to finish us off when we're weak. My honest feelings are the way this country is going it doesn't deserve to survive. The Forefathers would turn over in their graves if they knew what the DAMN LIBERALS ARE TURNING THIS COUNTRY INTO.  I've always loved this country and I'd die for it in a heartbeat. If I was younger I'd re-enlist, proudly.

Rethinking the part about Russia nuking us after a major terrorist hit... if I were the Russians why use nukes? They surely have biologicals (and antidotes for themselves) that could be dispersed to wipe out the population, and the roads, factories, refineries, farm lands, railroads, would be undamaged and usable by them. ...sometimes I scare myself.

How prepared are you Turboman? Are you stocked up on supplies for at least a month for you and your family? Do you have a "bugout" location out in the country? I try not to dwell on the subject, but I think in my life time we will see more terrorism in our country. Suicide bombers, not to mention all the nukes (accounted for, or not) Like I said, Hate to think of it. We already live 40 miles from Milwaukee and "bug-out" location just wouldn't be practical. Major highways conjestion and gas availablity are the primary reasons. Luckily we don't have any kids and we're both in our late 60's. I expect there will be Afro-american urban gangs out in the rurals stealing water and food and guns. We'd rather get killed in a gunfight than any other way. We have a well and a generator hooked up to the well pump and refrigerator. Got a couple thousand rounds of .223 hollow points and a 1000 .45 rds. our house is earth bermed on three sides. I'll take out a whole lot of "them" before they get us. I don't think a months supply of stuff would be enough, if the nationwide power grid is out. No electricity and gas. No pay checks. No food stores. No pharmacuticals. Only hope it's not during the winter. (Yes, we have a wood stove and fire wood too). Depending if biologicals were used, the economy likely will never recover. Look at ancient Greece, Babylonia, Rome, Third Reich, Mayans, Aztecs, and a hundred more civilizations that never would believe that their society would last forever. ...have a nice week.
