Hi, I need your help fighting the Eco-Nazi's in a quick on-line poll. I'm asking for your help out here in Pismo Beach CA--it is legal to ride OHVs on the beach and in the dunes here, but part of the OHV land could go up for sale and the only beach riding in California could be closed!

If you would please visit our local (lefty) free newspaper web site and vote in their on-line poll we can show the Greenies they are not family-oriented and they are in the minority:

New Times SLO :: Publishing Local News and Entertainment for over 18 years in San Luis Obispo County

There is an article that explains everything available at this site.

If any of you ride in California, you might want to check out this local Pro-OHV site supporting the dunes:

Friends of Oceano Dunes :: Access For Allâ„¢

Oceano Dunes has been open to off-roaders for over 100 years!

Thanks for your support!

Kevin

There are 1800 miles of California coast--only 5 miles are open to vehicles. I think the Greenies missed "sharing" in kindergarten!

It is the same thing here with these idiots trying to "protect the environment". If they had their way there would be no motorized recreation anywhere. My vote is in.

I voted. We got to do everything to help keep open our diminishing riding areas.

Awesome, guys! We're burying them! A lot of people seem to be voting for "Do nothing. Everything's fine the way it is now." Actually, Oceano Dunes has been slowly squeezed down to one-quarter it's original size. The biggest and best dunes are now WAY off limits.

During breeding season for the "Western Snowy Plover" (a stupid white bird that chases the tide all day long), they close off even more area. This is from March to October.

Next, is to eliminate night riding if they can't close it all together.

Same people that drive around in 1970 VW busses with no catalitic converter spewing more hydrocarbons than a hummer and getting less mpg than my 4Runner.  Hmmmmm.  Pismo is a great place!!!!

The people that built a house and paved city streets over the beach are now complaining! Highway 101 is a mile away with thousands of cars burning fuel. Also, a major railway. I can get more recreation out of 3 gallons of gas, then the enviros driving to Big Sur to go on a hike.
