I just read an article in the paper about "golden parachutes", man, did that ever torque my converter. Not only do these corperate management mushheads get multimillion dollar retirement packages, they get all the perks to go with it.free air travel on their corperate jets, free season tickets to pro games etc. How much is enough? I heard that gas is expected to hit 3.15 a gallon by mid summer, I would love to see an honest breakdown of how much of that per gallon cost goes for actual production and refinement, and how much just goes into execs pockets. Bush aint getting rich by being president.

I remember when gas was $.25 a gallon (shows age)  and then the local Clark station would come in and start a gas war by lowering it a few cents.  Ahhh the good old days.

Well, here it is. I heard on the radio this morning at work ,Exxons quarterly report, 32 BILLION dollar profit. 32 BILLION dollar profit!  profit means after operating costs, overhead etc etc,:omg: How much is enough? but its ok because the goverment is going to give everybody 100 bucks to help pay for our fuel. Personaly, Ithink its a slap in the face!

I used to work at a Clark station in Rochester Mn and yea cigs used to be 45 cents also,I used to work at a Clark station in Duluth. If we didn't offer to check their oil, they got a free bottle of soda at our expense. Of course it seemed no one ever wanted their oil checked unless it was raining:lolol:

Maybe a $100 amount paid per each gasoline operated motor you own! Cars, trucks, tractors, ATV's, snowmobiles, riding mower, trimmer, weed wackers... Might just as well add desil for the truck drivers, and farmers that use that fuel.

I'm hoping they resind both federal and state taxes.  That would give us a break.
