I have 35's Mud Terrains right now and im going to get 33's to help out my little 4 banger in my jeep, I want to be able to tow a trailer with my outty in it a little easier but I want an awesome looking tire, and I do a fair share of mudding. Yes I know they are loud, I know they ware quickly, and arent to good on wet roads. My question is this..Is going to 33 inch boggers going to really help me out to much? Right now 5th gear is almost out of the question with my 35's..Also are the boggers going to be a lot heavier? Any suggestions or first hand experiences would be helpful. Thanks guys

Well civ,if you want my opinion, without knowing what all youve done to your jeep and what type of mud you run, I would just use 33" BFG mud terrains, they work extremely well in mississippi riverbottom mud.

Personally I think a 31X10.5 would still look pretty mean on a jeep and give you much more towing ability. Pro comp makes great tires that have good highway manners too

Madfab - I was thinking this also. My 35 Mud TA's are great. Awesome on the road and great in the mud as well, not to loud and wear absolutely amazing. The thing is I have had 3 sidewalls blow out on the highway in the past 2 months. Not good =P My jeep looks agressive right now but going to 33's it isnt going to look like that unless I put a really agressive tire, thats why I was thinking the boggers.

Outlandish - 31's might look a little ridiculous I think. I have a 3 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body..Def would give me more towing ability though..

I didn't realize you had 5" of lift, yup might look pretty small in those wheel wells

Im still not sure that boggers are the way to go in your situation, you will need some powar to turn them, and when you make more power, you start tou break driveline parts, and then you know how it go's more money after more money. I think outlandish is right, check out some pro comps, cause it sounds like your after agressive looks more than any thing. Pro Comp makes a good tire.

Goodyear MTR's have a good rep, you should be happy with them. I used to run mud tires xcusivly, but when I switched to AT's, it was a night and day differance for tire longevity.:)
