Russell here the pics of that springy thingy

You can't really see it but there is a cable running through the spring and connected to the eye bolts. In case a spring should break, the cable should catch it. (hopefully)

It may not be the prettiest out there, but it is better than having to go to the chiropractor!!!

Good evening gang. 88 degrees here today with a 20 MPH breeze blowing off the ocean. I'll be looking like an Indian before the first of June. Bike week is over and things are getting back to normal.

:tg:There are NO rocks on the coast. I take sprinkler heads and termite stations out. They break a lot quicker than my blades will bend. Don, If you have a decent power washer, you can make pretty good money with it. I landscape/mow as a rule but power washing driveways and homes pays for my toys. Down here you can make a quick $75.00 washing a 20x 40 driveway. Takes about 1 1/2 hours.

Stay away from washing two story houses. I got one of those telescoping wands.

Let me just say you had better have arms of steel because that extension will kick your butt in no time. I'm in no hurry to use that thing again. :omg:

Enjoy your weekend Mrs. Cementhead. I am camping at Carolina Adventure World Sunday and Monday (and Saturday if I don't take the boat out). I am ready to ride! Think I will take a ride on their 1/2 mile long sky cable. It has been open for a month and ought to be good for a quick rush.

I was out walking my dogs in the neighborhood this evening and stopped to chat with a lady who maintains several properties within a half mile of my house. I bought a medium sized landscaping company three months ago. Her company is slightly larger than mine and she offered to sell out to me. Not sure what to do but sure would like to have her customers, half of which are neighbors to the ones I already do. I guess I will end up purchasing everything and then selling the equipment I don't need. She does have a sweet 0 turn gravely. Only concern I have is finding reliable help.

That is a concern you will always have...treat the good ones right and get rid of the bad quickly as possible and you will be alright. I have been burned a few times by employees but that was due to bad judgement on my part.

Guy that works for me asked me last week if we could start a company team playing horse shoes. I kinda ignored him as he also wanted to start up a curling team (sponsered by Bacardi of course) last fall. I told him to go for it I'm in but nothing ever came of it!
