Grew up in the Phoenix area, love the Sonoran Desert after a good rain, it really pops, all different colors. It's a real close second to the Rocky Mountains where I live now. There are three land areas that pop up about 1500' from the foothills prairie in Colorado Springs, I live on one of them, goes from sandy prairie to old growth pine and lots of wildlife, right in the middle of town. Good area for hiking, mountain bike riding, quiet area.

Farm work in high school, military, offshore drilling, steel mill, general contractor, consultant engineer, construction engineer. Still do a bit of consulting, but mostly my time is my own. My wife works of course.

I started riding a Schwinn bicycle, 26", bendix brakes, way too big, but was damn glad to have it. Went up to a motor scooter in Asia. Had an old army jeep for a while when I got back to the world, then just beaters until graduating from Arizona State University. First quad was a '92 two cycle Polaris Trail Boss just for clearing the driveway of snow and riding out back. When I got serious with quads, went through three Prairies and one Brute Force, then met a guy riding a Max Outlander out on the trail, we switched bikes for 10 minutes, and I knew it was time to get an Outy
